Commissions, sell your old stuff (old manga, doujinshi, vintage-y toys and such (ie sailor moon manga, polly pocket toys go for a ton of money on ebay) ~.. job-wise, waitressing will you get a lot! my friend worked at a classy japanese restaurant and earned 100-300$ just in tips per night.

I would suggest a job, mostly because income would be consistent, and do commissions on the side. But if that's not possible with your schedule and such, go for it. If anything it's good practice, and opens you to others' creativity. Just remember your income goals and consistency of clients when deciding prices.

Yeah, like someone else said, job would probably be the best and most consistent. But commissions are always an option too~

I suggest commission or selling prints, but not any prints like selling 5 copy of a really popular piece! It's the best way I see with DA!

I'm in the same situation as you! D: if getting a job or doing commissions don't work for you, i have a couple of legit suggestions

1) a friend told me a place online called ChaCha which is free question and answer place. and you can sign up to be a guide who is the person who answers questions and you get $0.20 per answer. So to get $25 you have to do 125. If you think you can do that then I suggest you should try it at least

2) if you have alot of junk you can sell it on ebay, amazon, or etsy. If you got old games, cell phones, or electronics you can go to second rotation, cellforcash [link] , and game trade central [link] and get cash for them.

3) someone told me about this site that's like Paypal that will give you $25 free just to sign up. I signed up and got the $25 into my bank. it's free to sign up, and for every person you refer you get $10 for free. you can invite up to 50 people and that's $500 already i haven't got anyone to believe me though D: so sad
